We have partnered with several customers on environmental sustainability programs to significantly reduce our carbon footprint. One such example is the “Plan A” program with Marks & Spencer: as part of it, we have now built 100% water recycling zero discharge units, converted to LED lighting, and, with other such activities, have reduced our carbon footprint by 700 metatonnes a year.
We realize our people are our biggest asset, and we treat them as such. We invest in various programs aimed for their betterment, including crèche facilities and summer camps for the children of our workers, upskilling programs, and regular health check-ups. We also partner with a valued customer, Gap Inc., on their P.A.C.E program to empower women. Most of our workers are women and we help them improve their technical skills, become financially literate, and advance their careers.
At K Mohan, our quality control managers use technology as an enabler to ensure excellence at every stage of the value chain. Our vigilance is unceasing, from fabric checking at the mill to identify quality at the source, to 100% shrinkage checks at our factory, to AQL checks throughout the manufacturing process, and barcode scanning of every single piece before it leaves the factory. Our customers can rely on us to deliver products of very high quality.
