K Mohan is committed to ethical conduct. We have collaborated with various global brands to implement human resource programmes with the goal to improve factory management processes and efficiency. These programmes are proving to be a success, with improvements observed in productivity, wage levels, absenteeism, and overall skill levels of our 8000 strong team of management and workers. Women form a majority of our work force and we take pride in helping them out of abject living conditions to become financially literate with a career advancement plan for their long term wellbeing.

Women get access to knowledge that improves their skills with technical know–how. Of the 1,500 women who have taken this training more than 400 have put their learnings to practice and benefited with promotions and skill enhancements within the company.

Thinking humanity.

We have ear marked an exclusive space for child care services, located within each of our factory premises. Children of mothers who work at K Mohan are provided with babysitting facilities here, at no cost to them. We have nursery teachers who provide the slightly older children with kindergarten services. This initiative has saved the kids from the trauma of separation anxiety they face when left at home. Each crèche comes equipped with various toys, learning aids, and a flat screen TV.

We regularly conduct health screening camps of our employees to ensure their well being. The program has helped 2500 women overcome Anemia, while 560 employees have been detected with Thyroid with treatment advise.

Better working conditions, for a better life.

We follow the guidelines laid by Marks & Spencer in their Ethical Model Factory programme. In partnership Geosansar, we have initiated financial inclusion for our workers by providing them easy to access banking facilities. This has lead to a higher level of financial literacy in our workforce as compared to many other similar organization in the region. Our factories focus on three elements: workers’ rights training; training of Middle Management & HR personnel and productivity training for Industrial Engineers and production line management. This has proved to be a success, with improvements observed in productivity, wage levels, absenteeism, and skill levels of our workers. We take pride in our responsible, satisfied, aware and less disruptive workforce.
